Robert Bloch (1917 – 1994) was a versatile and influential writer whose work spanned multiple genres. Mentored by the iconic H. P. His most famous work, the novel Psycho, was published in 1959 and famously adapted into a film by Alfred Hitchcock the following year. Throughout his career, Bloch earned numerous accolades, including the Hugo Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Bram Stoker Award, and he served as president of the Mystery Writers of America.
