I'm listening since 2006, one of my first podcasts. Super interesting facts explained in a manner that you dont need a scienence master to comprehend. Pamela and Fraiser have a great energy and passion and make this podcast very entertaining as well. I hope the podcast continues to exsist for a long time!! Kudos!

I much prefer this to Neil degrasse tysons podcast. The content is superb.

I would give you guys not just 5 stars but a whole galaxy. The show is great and now that you have mixed it with the weekly space hangout it also has the news-flavor to it.

Astronomycast is one of the greatest podcasts out there - these people are simply amazing, whether you lie in bed with a migraine or sit in the bus waiting for the time to pass - you always always always learn things from them, no matter how much you thought you knew, it's absolutely entertaining and the passion they have for astronomy is contagious! This is simply an amazing podcast. I love how simple everything is made for everyone. Fraser, :-) I think you are doing a better job being a communicator than being an astronomer yoruself. We love you. Thank you for the initiation. I am an astronomy freak but due to career reasons, I am studying Computer science currently but am sure I will do astrophysics or astronomy at some point in mylife. Due to my busy life, I don't get a chance to to sit and read and study as much about Astronomy and Physics as I wanted. Now I got the perfect tool. I listent to your podcast every minute of the day I got to spare. It is helping me as a nice introduction to the field as well as at least learn to talk intelligently to the Field's professionals. I am from Ethiopia where lots of education resources on space and astronomy are not avilable. But hey, now there is Astronomy Podcast for FRee!!! Thank you so much. Pamela , thank you too for taking time off your busy life to do this for free. The inspiration you transpire to young people like us who has limited access to resources can't be paid enough. I just love Astronomy Cast! Dr. Pamela Gay and Frasier Cain are an excellent team. One could think sooner or later they would run out of topics, but they have been doing this for more than 3 years and hardly missed a week. Fortunately, I feel that there are many more to come.

This podcast is highly educative and addictive. Every day I spend more than 2 hours in my car and there is nothing better to make that time useful.

I can recommend this podcast to everyone. Astronomy never gets boring, they cover all different kinds of topics you could imagine. And you can even participate in their forum and ask them questions. They answer them all, and if you´re lucky your question will appear on the show.

5 stars seem not enough for Astronomy Cast, they are a category of their own.

Vor vielen Jahren wurden die Bundesbürger durch eine Serie namens "Unser Kosmos" in das Reich der Galaxien, Sterne und Planeten eingeführt. Damals brachte uns Carl Sagan alles bei was damals Stand des Wissens war und das auch noch auf sehr anschauliche Weise. Die Jahre vergingen und jetzt haben Pamela und Fraser diese Aufgabe übernommen. Man sollte zwar Englisch können aber dann schaffen es diese beiden in einer halben Stunde ein Thema so abzuhandeln das kaum Fragen offen bleiben. Und wer dennoch nicht genug Wissen angehäuft hat kan den beiden Fragen zusenden die dann auch beantwortet werden. In über 100 Folgen beweisen sie das Menschen die sich für unseren Kosmos interessieren nicht nur alte Männer mit Hornbrillen sein müssen.

I am a fan of this podcast from day one. The crew is very professional and gives us Astronomy in an interesting and fun package. Plus, Pamely Gay has an amazing "radio voice" that I could listen to for hours.
