While I may not always agree with their opinions, I appreciate the hosts for not taking themselves too seriously and sharing their thoughts in an honest and passionate way. This, along with the well balanced structure of the podcast, makes filmspotting a consistently entertaining delight. Hands down, filmspotting is the podcast I look forward to the most each week. I have been listening to it for over 6 years now and haven’t missed a single episode. I can’t say that about any other podcast out there.

The discussions are insightful, interesting and entertaining, you'll get to see the films you know and love in a different light and get to discover new gems you didn't even know you were interested in.

If you're looking for insightful and educated opinions on blockbuster movies or indie films, this is your podcast. The two hosts know how but don't want to impress with their great knowledge on film and are creating controversial and entertaining debates. Both also have really smooth and radio friendly voices, which is a big plus if you want to listen to them just before falling asleep. Also they have great music on the show, just sadly, never let the songs play out their full length.

By far the best movie podcast out there. Insightful, smart, entertaining. Great show. Check out their extensive show archive as well!

This is a great review show! Adam and Josh are my go-to team of film critics, especially now that Roger Ebert is no longer here to offer us his insights. The strength of the show is conversation, because the two hosts offer smart analyses and complement each other very well. They also have fun segments like Massacre Theater and Top 5 lists to any film topic imaginable. This is perfect for an aspiring cinephile like me because they not only recommend great movies, but make you understand WHY they are considered good or great movies in the first place. Highly recommended!
