The latest update makes this app not worth downloading because it is working very bad.

App works poorly on Mac. I have to close and/or reinstall it every time I want to message someone. Bugs and bugs. It freezes constantly.

This app is terrible on Mac. I can barely use it from time to time and ever since Sonoma it completely crashed and won't let me log in. Sooo disappointing. Meta took over a great app and managed to destroy it. Sad

There is a bug with the app. When I want to share a picture after i select the person and click send the picture is not sent, but if i enter the conversation and send it from there, the picture it is sent.

The issue is on iPhone 12

If u don't put back the old photos and documents sharing method and u want full access to my photos, our friendship will be discontinued.

Salut. De la ultimul update nu mai putem trimite poze direct din albumul foto. Nu le preia; nu le incarca! Merge doar atasandu-le direct din whatsapp! Please fix it! 🙏🏼

Whatsapp is lagging and freezing on my Iphone 14. When I open it I have to wait a long time before i can see my messages. This is such an impediment because it’s an important app and it keeps doing it even after just letting it open.

Could you fix the problem with the avatar hair eyes and other colours. You can’t change them. They would not load ..

The worst thing is that you can t save files everywhere you want. In my opinion is one of the most essential thing on WhatsApp. In the next update, please bring it back.

Needs a option to turning on or off or hiding the find’s channel’s ,I don’t like it and showing always there!!! Hei whatsapp what is going on, the admin in the group is useless when I am removed someone from the group all can see this is no more hide is transparency everything, and I like it to have more options like: delete anytime links,videos, messages not with limited, many more! Now the photos are listed with the most recent at the top, and the scroll direction is backwards. It is completely unintuitive and backwards to how you had it before. No option to change it back??? Why do you keep changing everything? Please put it back to how it was, or give me the option to customize it.

Everytime I OPEN the app it says “connecting” and I can’t do anything for minutes. I have to Close the app, then it shuts down itself and then only when I OPEN it the 3rd time it works after it says “connecting” again. Am I the only one with this problem? Hey, great app! i’ve been using this app for 5/6 years and haven’t had so much troubles with it. love all the new features and extensions improved to this app and really easy to use. but i was thinking about an additional feature (optional) that can and help improve the app more for majority of people. you should maybe add a filtered/hidden words or messages to settings under starred messages and linked devices with a red cross as an icon. and in there you can press on the button and have a text at the top saying “Write down here to filter/hide this message.” or something similar to that. and when the person sees a word included in the other user’s paragraph or sentence should have a blurred effect or image saying “Tap to view the filtered/hidden message.” that way so they’re not triggered by any messages that include the specific word they don’t like. Hope you can see my review, thanks all to the developers!

that's an good app but it's glitching a little when I press send a sticker, the first time it appears half and then it appears entirely and when i send photos for only once see it's looking weird like the text opened is over the text photo and it's weird?? please respond asap i need to know how to fix that

Please make something about the notifications on apple devices. For instance, I am unable to receive Whatsapp call notifications while I am on silent, both on my phone and my watch. The app does not trigger a vibration and does not send a notification to the watch. Thx

"Use face id" button on ios is completely useless and it looks horrible...put back that face without that middle aged button...(face id unlocks the phone almost all the time but it looks so bad with that button while switching apps...)

You should also add options to lock WhatsApp with password too...not only with face id...

Since a few weeks ago, even my wapp it is updated to the latest version when someone is typing me a message, i don't receive any notification as i was doing it before. Need to start wapp and the all messages are getting received. When someone is texting, they are shown on their wapp only the sign that the message was sent but not received(only one thick). This issues is not encountered only by me. My ios is updated on latest version. My phone is iphone 11 . Please advise ! Thank u.

When you have multiple chats it is very hard to find them. It would be easier if you could sort them by (chat tag add multiple tags to a chat) or by adding them in a folder( a chat can be added to multiple folders)

This is a very powerfull and usefu tool that whatsapp doesn't have. The new 'comunities' feature is also very good.

I would like to come with a requirement!

I have a job and a normal life and I am using this phone for both things. It is a big inconvenience to have two phones with two different sim cards to separate the two. I think it will be a very good thing for the majority of people to have a feature in which you can divide chats.

Instead of just these buttons(“Status”, “call”, “camera”, “chats” and “settings”) to have a key feature with the option of switching through “day to day” chats and “work” chats.

I would really love some custom features for it.

1. On iOS I would love to be able to do the message backup on something other than iCloud.

2. I would love to be able to set custom message tones for group chats (not only the standard ones)

3. I would love it if we could create polls inside the app

If I enable haptic feedback from keyboard the sound of the keyboard and also the sound when a messege is sent at set to maximum (Iphone 13 Pro Max). If you can test this and fix it , it will be great. Also if I try to set the sound from the system it doesn’t make any difference.

Honestly never had a problem with whatsapp, but this year, since the last updates, it became a total mess.

Firstly it started bugging, I could not deactivate ,,Last seen” feature, even if I select ,,last seen” to not be shown, it still shows(my seen, last seen)to everyone.

I choose to reinstall the app, and then SURPRISE, i couldn’t get back my ,,Whatsapp Backup” NICEEEEEE, what should I DO NOW? I LOST EVERY CONVERSATION…

So i really love this app. I always talk with my friends on it. But today i discovered a problem, a very big one. There is an option to choose who can see your Bio and somehow people can see it even if i did not select them. When they Forward a message or a photo, they can see my bio from there even if i excluded them from seeing it. It’s not a big deal for me but there is people out there who are really mad about this. Please fix it!

Hello, I have discovered a problem with the "auto-media download" options: if I choose all the options from "auto-media download" to "never" from "wi-fi and cellular or wi-fi only", when I close the app, after restarting all these settings revert to the original "wi-fi and cellular or wi-fi only" settings. I tried restarting the phone, resetting all network connections, closing, removing and reinstalling the app, but nothing... I checked on another phone and found the same problem... it's a bug.

Everytime i modify my auto-download settings and close the app, the settings revert to the default. This needs to be fixed. Expecially in an era where a file can hack your phone

It is unbeliveable to me that devs working for this app are so determined to deter users from it. Whatsapp had tens of updates and included lots pf useless features, yet I still am unable to return to a call screen if the call is made through whatsapp. This is the most garbage app I ever got to use and I even used Discord.

How is it possible for an app to be this stupid? Why do I have to put my phone in airplane mode to end a call made theough whastapp, as I simply cannot acces the call screen, because if I press the green bar at the top, the iPhone understands “go to top”, as it basically did for the past 10 years, but somehow Whatsapp devs do not know this.

Garbage app, hope it gets abbandonded by all users for being this stupid.

I got the iPhone 13 a week ago. Everything was fine until I saw that my phone’s battery drains by 1% every 7 minutes even when I am not even doing anything on it. I went to settings and it says that whatsapp is using 30% of my battery even tho I barely use it. I turned off backround refresh but it’s still the same problem!!!! I did not have this problem with whatsapp on my iPhone XR. I hope that you are going to fix this soon . It’s really annoying

With last update, on garmin watch you can’t make a difference when someone is writing your on private chat or a group. Hope this error will be fixed.

Today after installing the app on my new iphone 13, my phone number got banned leaving me in frustation trying to figure out what i did wrong. After sending a number of messages to their help center trying to solve my problem and still waiting for an answer I discovered Telegram instead and it seem to work just fine, and i will recomand it to all my friends and collaborative.

Reading help center information in an atempt figure out what happend i could not find any answer. I still waiting for them to give me an elaborate answer about my violation of the terms of service.

Wish them all the best with this app and hope to understand that they banned my number with no legal evidence of me violating any law, since i did not do such a thing in my entire life, leaving me in frustation and with a bad taste after this hapening.

After the recent update, the app does not function well with the dark mode (green on black looks indistinguishable), the animations creates an impression of slowness, and the auto suggest feature when I type is the most annoying: the words literally fly from left like a funny PowerPoint animation, and get me distracted from typing text. Please, please get rid of this annoying and distracting animation!! It is useless and unproductive. Or at least offer the option to disable it, although I don’t understand why someone would want it.

Why the led flash notification on video calls doesn’t work anymore on Whatsapp? It only flash when i get a notification for a text message, but when somebody video call me, the option for led flash notification doesn’t work. This happend whith the upgrade if IOS 14. Please put back the led flash notification for video calls. Thank you.

Hello , my house has an Asus mesh network. When I go to another room , another mesh node set the internnet connection to my mobile. If i’m in the whats app call and I changed rooms the message reconnecting is dislayed but the connection is never estabilish again. This not hapend on facetime app from Iphone.

I adore everything from here ! But i think that it should be added a new update where we can put gifs as our profile pictures, and a banner for when somebody click on your profile they will see it

For me, as a person with severe visual impairments, the new version of this application is inaccessible, in addition to the fact that the play button after each message is confusing, when I want to play, I skip either at the beginning of the conversation, or in the middle or at the end, barely I manage to get to the desired message because of that button, please urgently solve this problem so that the application is accessible again and so that people with visual impairments can also enjoy and use it. Is there a reason why after the recent iOS update and recent whatsapp uldate the notifications stopped coming? If I don’t open the app, I don’t get my notifications. Something important that this app does not cover is quality of videos and photos that are sent. The videos received from whatsapp are really bad, while their original quality is way better. I consider this issue an important one, something that needs to be fixed

When i want to open the app, it crashes. every single time. i tried to uninstall and install it back, worked for 1-2hours and the crashing thing came back. i also tried to restart my phone, nothing happened. When you remove a message for anyone, it apear that message was removed, but, when you remove just for you, disappear, and, you’re not able to remove it for all.

Please, make same move, when remove just for you, so have the message appear as removed, to be possible to remove for all.

Secound, make backup possible on demand, on cellular date, because, if you don’t have wifi, you lose all message that are after the last backup.

The fact that in this new update, my whatsapp contacts appear in the sharing sheet, when sharing from another app, is the stupidest idea ever. Now it’s crowded with a lot of people that I don’t usually share things with. An option of selecting the contacts you want in the sharing sheet would have been fair! Please change this in the next update!

I hate that everytime I have some unread messages (more than fits my screen) and I start to read them and I want to reply a certain line, whatsapp brings me to the end of the conversation and I have to scroll back to read the rest of it. So , boohoo 👎🏻 whatsapp, you have to fix this asap!

My fav app since ever. Would be fun having integrated the stories as on fb and insta, on the main chat not separately so would be easier to watch since ppl are starting to share stories in there too...with gifs and stuff..oh yeah and the dark mode ofc. For the rest all perfect 🤗

I have updated to the latest iOS version (13.1), I have also made sure I updated WhatsApp to it’s latest version and it still crashes when I try to launch it. It crashes when I allow it to sync my iPhone contacts. If I disable this option in iPhone settings, I can use WhatsApp but I can’t acces my contacts, which is frustrating.

I tried to reboot and force reboot the phone, completely delete and reinstall WhatsApp, but it doesn’t help. The only thing I haven’t tried is a restore, but I hope it won’t be necessary!

This program has become so unreliable. After being purchased by Facebook, it has turned from bad to worse by the second. With privacy concerns and functionality issues, this is beginning to look more and more unappealing. For a day now users have reported that they are not able to send or receive pictures and voice messages and the resolution offered to some was to “retry sending”. Sucky service and terribly dissappointing.

I would like to see the following features:

- the members of a group to have the option to hide their numbers in the group and display kind of a user name instead

- delete a message for all even if it was seen by the others

- increase the capacity of the groups to 1000

I want to suggest an update: creating the poll option for groups, in order to make a survey when organizing events with the people for your groups. For me, it would be really effective since now I have to do that on Facebook, which is not that great.

After the last ios update, whatsapp isn't working as it should be. Tho I haven’t changed my notifications option at all, i am not receiving notifications outside of app. Not even on icon. Whilst i think no one is texting, when i open the app, surprise, full of new unread messages. Please fix this bug. It’s annoying and i tried everything. Changing options, restarting phone, backing up.. nothing works. Thank you!

When I’m not on whatsapp, even if I no longer have acces to the internet, I’m still “online” and it’s happening even to other contacts. I’m not the only one who’s complaning about that. Or when I’m online it don’t show that more than one minute. I know so many relationships that are over because of that (awkward but true). Please solve that and fast!!

The app works wonderfully, nothing to object. The only thing that could make it better is the option to add custom notification sounds (not just those provided by the app) or at least use the default phone notification sounds. Quality of life change

I think is my 4th review about same problem why dont you do a different setting for people who whats to see who send them messages and show their name in the notifications on the lock screen and another setting for the ones who wants their notifications to be privacy and says on the lock screen notification new massage as it was before.....i hope you can do it pretty soon because i get tired of this problem and probably ill delete this app if it keeps having 0 privacy....best regards

Great app!!! Really intuitive and user friendly. Works seamlessly across devices. What needs to be improved is the quality of the voice calls - my experience so far with voice calls wasn’t that great, however, I don’t use it that much, so it’s not that important to me.

It happened so many times, a little frustrating that the last seen online status is not always updated. And the sound notification of the message is sometimes 3-4 minutes late.

When I send a message, it actually gets sent hours later sometimes. It really makes communication difficult. I sent a friend a message at 3 am but when I looked in the morning at the details it looked as if it hadn’t been sent yet (8am). At 11am it appeared as sent. I checked with the person and he hadn’t received anything by that time. It happened on more than one occasion! I wish Whatsapp would do something about that (I was connected at Wi-Fi. So there where no problems with my connection)

Also, since I updated, the app moves very slow for some reason.

My settings allow acces to my microphone, yet when I receive calls it does not appear on my phone. Is this something known as error?

I use app for a long time, yet after the last update, I encounter this issue!

There’s no question about the usefulness of this app but it could be better if they just update it to sync with the Apple Watch, just to be able to see the messages and maybe quick reply will make such a big difference. I am only using WhatsApp and it would be of tremendous use for me and possibly many others. Cheers
